About
50km from Fethiye at Kayadibi village just off the main road to Antalya,
Saklikent Canyon is tucked into the foothills of Ak Dag (mountain).
The 18km long gorge some 300km deep in places has been carved out of
the mountainside.
It's
well worth visiting whether you choose to walk down into the canyon
choose to walk down into the canyon itself or to simply relax by the
riverside in the shade of the mountain and lush greenery and enjoy a
drink or lunch of the freshest possible trout.
